The people of the UK are once again relied upon to help themselves out of the current economic recovery, following the latest meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee.  The voters once again cast their ballots for the base rate to remain at 0.5% and a hold on any more Quantitative Easing.  The rise on consumer prices has not gone into effect thus far and so money will not cost anything additional to borrow.  Savers though are still wondering when the benefits of putting away pounds will resume; especially the pensioners.
